Job summary

University of Texas at Austin, located on the UT Austin campus in Austin, TX, seeks a Senior Program Coordinator to oversee Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Private Equity Center activities within the McCombs School of Business. You will support directors in developing, coordinating, marketing, and executing Center programs to enhance its brand and impact.

You will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Academic Director, contributing to events, student programs, and collaborations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and five years of experience coordinating programs and/or events.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous success managing multiple projects, assessing work priorities, and as well as regular ability in meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency with software, especially MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and comfort learning new technologies.
• Previous experience developing and implementing initiatives, programs and/or services for a varied set of clients.
• Proven ability to take ownership of programs and innovate new ideas for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work with center Directors to develop, market, and execute events for the Center.
• Manage lifecycle of Center events, including planning, communications, registration, and post-event evaluation.
• Enhance relationships with industry professionals and identify career opportunities for students.
• Coordinate daily operations of the center and produce administrative reports.
• Assist in advancing academic programs and monitoring budget status.
