Rutgers University—Camden seeks a new Senior Program Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of the Center for Computational and Integrative Biology ( CCIB ), this position serves as a key contributor to the development, implementation, evaluation, and long-term institutionalization of innovative STEM graduate training programs supported through NSF Research Traineeship ( NRT ) and related federally funded initiatives. The incumbent will work collaboratively with faculty, trainees, institutional partners, and external stakeholders to advance student-centered training models that enhance graduate student success, interdisciplinary collaboration, workforce readiness, mentorship, scientific software development, and emerging approaches to STEM education.

The Senior Program Coordinator is expected to help shape the future direction of STEM training programs by identifying innovative practices, developing scalable training structures, evaluating program outcomes, and recommending improvements to graduate education and professional development models. The incumbent will contribute to the design of new educational frameworks, certificates, workforce development initiatives, and trainee support mechanisms that extend beyond the life of individual grants and become embedded within institutional practices.

The position will support dissemination of program outcomes at national venues and is expected to participate in NSF -sponsored meetings, conferences, and professional development activities alongside Principal Investigators and program leadership. The role serves as both an operational and strategic contributor to the growth, sustainability, and expansion of NSF -funded training initiatives.

This is a grant funded position contingent upon the availability of funds to support it.
