The Cornwall Center at Rutgers University-Newark, is seeking energetic and creative advocates to serve as After-school Program Leaders for the Promise Youth University, Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center ( PYU -21st CCLC ). PYU -21st CCLC serves 3rd -8th grade students, including students with special needs, delivering a science, technology, engineering, arts, and math ( STEAM ) based program. PYU will employ Program Leaders to work alongside certified teachers, community sponsors, community-based organizations, and other leaders to deliver high quality programs, at a15 to 1 student-staff ratio. This project is funded by New Jersey Department of Education, Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant and the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
