Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Program Controls Manager to oversee budget and schedule across multiple projects in a client program, ensuring reliable reporting and effective control systems. The role guides staff, tools, and processes in line with the Program Execution Plan and coordinates with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 7 years direct project controls experience.
• Field experience in facilitating and producing detailed construction schedules and interfacing those construction schedules with engineering and procurement activities.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
• Experience with Project Management Information System(s) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Controls budget and schedule on related projects within the program.
• Develop, implement and maintain a management reporting data warehouse for program controls reports.
• Lead schedule management using critical path method and cost forecasting.
• Lead reviews of Earned Value Management system reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risk potentials to the project.
• Recruit, develop, train and retain the program controls team.
• Interface with clients, attend program meetings and present cost and schedule analyses.
