Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Staff Project Controls Specialist in Vancouver, WA to lead project controls with the PM team, ensuring projects meet budget and schedule. You will set up projects in Enterprise Planning & Controls software, analyze data, create WBS, and develop scheduling and cost reports.

Responsibilities include reviewing changes, approving POs, maintaining earned value, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field and 3 years of direct project controls experience required.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10-hour safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls processes with the internal project management team to meet budget and schedule.
• Set up projects in Enterprise Planning & Controls software and run reports.
• Create WBS and develop scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows and forecasts.
• Monitor resource loading, critical path methods, and earned value management.
• Review changes, approve POs/Subcontracts for proper coding and audit readiness.
• Interface with PM and Accounting to review costs and contingencies.
