Job summary

VetsEZ seeks a Senior Program Analyst to support a VA healthcare modernization initiative, focusing on data extraction and site conversion activities. You will lead extract logic, validation, and tool use for pre-, during, and post-go-live phases.

You will collaborate with data engineers, clinical SMEs, and government stakeholders to ensure data integrity, timeliness, and compliance within secure environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline; eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale federal programs, with data migration, system implementation, or healthcare IT.
• Experience creating, executing, and supporting data extracts in complex healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with DAWA and ability to support ongoing functionality and user interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on VA cutover extract processes and refine extraction logic.
• Maintain and evolve extract routines used to transfer clinical data during site conversions.
• Provide hands-on support during pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live to ensure data completeness.
• Support and maintain DAWA and other tools used in the cutover extract and data validation lifecycle.
• Analyze data discrepancies between legacy and new EHR systems and coordinate remediation.
• Create and update extract runbooks, site tracking sheets, validation docs, and support logs.
• Collaborate with data engineers, clinical SMEs, and government stakeholders to ensure extract integrity.
• Monitor conversion readiness indicators and drive go/no-go decisions.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to process improvements.
