Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff Professional Services Operations Lead to build scalable PS operations, forecasting, capacity planning, and go-to-market alignment. You will partner with Finance, Sales, and Delivery to create automated, reliable processes and reporting that reveal pipeline, staffing, and revenue dynamics.

You will drive go-to-market alignment, pricing governance, and service delivery improvements while collaborating across distributed teams to enable scalable growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Professional Services Operations or similar.
• Deep understanding of PS business models including time & materials and fixed-fee engagements.
• Experience owning forecasting and planning processes linking sales pipeline to delivery capacity and revenue.
• Experience with PSA tooling, time-tracking, CRM, reporting and related systems.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience with PSA platforms and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Mature the PS operating cadence with forecasting, planning, reviews and executive readouts.
• Establish connected capacity, utilization and staffing across billable and non-billable roles.
• Improve visibility into project economics: rate cards, costs, margins and utilization.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, CX Engineering and Delivery to optimize PSA and related tooling.
• Define requirements and lead process improvements across PS and services teams.
• Support GTM alignment by linking PS planning to account and renewal timelines.
• Enhance service catalog, pricing, SKU governance and partner delivery models.
• Document processes and enable self-service reporting to reduce leadership dependencies.
