A leading company in the financial technology sector is seeking a Program Manager to lead multiple strategic programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience and the ability to drive results through effective team leadership and client engagement. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery and organizational readiness.
About the Role/team
The Program Manager actively leads multiple programs. This includes leading a team of cross-functional, cross-product resources in establishing project management standards and delivering the products and services sold. The Program Manager will build strong, effective relationships with clients and coach the team to success.
How you'll make an impact
Drive contract ownership by ensuring terms and obligations are met.
Initiate, plan, and execute a portfolio of large strategic programs.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, to provide on-time, within-estimates, quality deliverables that meet product expectations and customer satisfaction.
Identify and implement project management best practices.
Create, maintain, and communicate Risk Assessments and Plans to ensure organizational readiness to support deliverables.
Collaborate with other teams to accomplish project goals and ensure solutions' long-term support plans.
Mentor and lead program managers on strategic programs.
Experience you'll bring:
Ability to draw on diverse prior experience, including client engagement, technical and subject matter expertise, and project management, to lead teams effectively.
10+ years of project management experience in a consultative customer environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role; 5 years managing large-scale product implementations.
Understanding of project management methodologies, performance measurement, metrics, and business and financial analysis.
Consultative skills, sound judgment, decision-making abilities, and capacity to work under deadlines.
Proven ability to lead teams in executing complex business strategies and driving results.
Ability to build rapport, influence, and solve problems with various client levels.
Experience facilitating root-cause analysis on complex issues.
Skills in collaboration, negotiation, persuasion, maintaining positive relationships with employees, peers, clients, and partners.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
