The Professional Services Consultant plays a crucial role in deploying and configuring Palo Alto Networks solutions onsite or remotely. You will be a product SME, interacting directly with customer personnel and project teams, providing leadership, technical guidance, and best practice deployment strategies. This is a hands-on, highly technical role requiring expertise in our products and solutions within customer environments.

You will delve into our platform's details, handle challenging cybersecurity, implementation, and integration tasks, and serve as the technical authority to help secure customer environments. Experience with our platform is beneficial, but a strong foundation in networking and security technologies is essential. Experience with competitors’ technologies is advantageous, especially for migration projects. Training will be provided via our Professional Services Academy.

Your Impact

• Migrate customers from legacy firewalls to Palo Alto Networks platforms
• Build custom security policies and signatures tailored to client needs
• Deploy advanced platform features and functionalities
• Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with the Technical Assistance Center on support cases
• Maintain solutions and mentor on upgrades and best practices
• Ensure timely delivery of project scope and client satisfaction

Your Experience

• 8+ years in network security solutions in large environments
• Troubleshooting skills in networking, routing, VPNs, NAT, IPSEC, and application interactions
• Experience with high-end firewall appliances, preferably Palo Alto Networks
• Ability to manage multiple projects calmly under pressure
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working with security and network teams to build confidence
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS solutions
• Deep understanding of security threats, protocols, and applications
• Extensive internetworking, LAN, and WAN experience
• Willingness to travel up to 15%

Compensation Disclosure

Salary ranges from $126,000 to $189,000/year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation may include stock units and bonuses. Benefits details are available here.
