Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Liability underwriting experience.
• Expertise in Miscellaneous Professional Liability and/or Construction Professional Liability.
• Established broker network in the professional liability insurance marketplace.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills for risk assessment and pricing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Miscellaneous and Construction Professional Liability risks with a focus on profitability and portfolio quality.
• Develop and nurture strong broker relationships to generate quality submissions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with underwriting strategy.
• Analyze risk exposures, pricing adequacy, and policy terms to support underwriting decisions.
• Negotiate terms with brokers and clients while maintaining underwriting discipline.
• Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and underwriting teams to monitor portfolio performance.
• Monitor market trends and represent Swiss Re in broker meetings and events.
