Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Liability underwriting experience.
• Expertise in Miscellaneous and/or Construction Professional Liability risks.
• Established broker network in professional liability.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Miscellaneous and Construction Professional Liability risks with focus on profitability.
• Develop and nurture relationships with retail and wholesale broker partners to source quality submissions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Swiss Re underwriting strategy.
• Analyze risk exposures, pricing adequacy, and policy terms to support sound underwriting decisions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients while maintaining underwriting discipline.
• Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and underwriting teams to monitor portfolio performance.
• Monitor market trends and evolving professional liability developments.
• Represent Swiss Re in broker meetings, industry events, and client engagements.
