ARCOSA Lightweight is seeking a Senior Production Worker for our plant in Shepherdsville, KY.

In this role, you will support a positive safety culture by overseeing activities and staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment regulated by MSHA safety standards. As a Senior Production Worker, you will be part of the production team manufacturing our products.

About Arcosa Lightweight: We are a leading producer and distributor of lightweight and natural aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products across the Western and Southwestern U.S.

Responsibilities include producing materials, operating machinery such as excavators, dozers, motor graders, skid steers, water trucks, and maintenance trucks to move materials and products, and ensuring proper identification of parts and materials. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations
• Operate at least two types of mobile equipment (e.g., haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, backhoe, front loader)
• Perform safety inspections and document discrepancies
• Maintain and operate equipment in quarry or production settings
• Assist with maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment, inspecting crusher screens, and keeping work areas clean
• Support safety initiatives and participate in safety committees
• Perform other duties as assigned, including operating specific machinery, maintaining equipment, and supporting production processes

What You'll Need:

• Reliable attendance
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift up to 60 pounds, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience
• Ability to operate multiple types of mobile equipment
• On-the-job training will be provided
