Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is hiring a Sr. Production Test Technician on First Shift to join the manufacturing team for testing and validating complex assemblies. You will work with engineers during setup, perform troubleshooting and quality testing across subassemblies and final products.

Ideal candidates hold an AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent power-electronics experience. Expect work around high voltage and safety-compliant testing in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field; equivalent electronics military schooling/experience accepted.
• High-power electronics and/or high-power avionics technician experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience with troubleshooting, testing, and quality testing of electronic assemblies and systems within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations with engineers during setup; troubleshoot, rework and test parts and assemblies.
• Assemble, test and troubleshoot complex assemblies and final systems using standard test equipment; analyze results for performance adjustments.
• Set up specialized test equipment and use programs to collect and evaluate operating/test data.
