Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is seeking a Repair Station Test Technician to perform in-house servicing and testing of company products. The role emphasizes safety, 5S, calibration and adherence to procedures, with guidance from Sr. technicians as needed.

The position requires an electronics background, knowledge of schematics, and the ability to read engineering data to assemble and verify electronics units. Drug-free and background screening apply.

Qualifications

• AS in Electronics Technology or related field, or equivalent electronics military schooling/experience.
• 1–2 years direct experience in repair/maintenance of electronic hardware and systems.
• High-power electronics and avionics experience may substitute formal education.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house servicing and repair of company products at the repair station.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and final systems per drawings and specs.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics to assemble electronics units.
• Prepare failure analysis reports and maintain records per SOPs.
