Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is seeking a Production Test Technician for a Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:30 am–6:30 pm). You’ll test assembled parts with precision instruments, focusing on 5S, safety, calibration, and quality, while following SOPs and protocols.

The role requires an AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent, plus 1–2 years of relevant experience and familiarity with high-power electronics and avionics. The position includes a base salary and a health-focused benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field/ equivalent electronics military schooling and experience required.
• Demonstrates familiarity (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position)

Responsibilities

• May occasionally perform the set-up, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
• Test and troubleshoot (less complex) assemblies and/or final systems
• May occasionally complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• May occasionally prepare reports of summarizing findings
• May occasionally assist in the set-up of specialized test equipment
• Monitor and adjust production processes for quality and productivity
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, or engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components
• Perform other duties as assigned
