Job summary

Raytheon in Farmington, NM is seeking a Senior Production Test Engineer to influence test strategies, architectures and production transitions through data analysis and RCCA methods.

You will validate new or modified test equipment, monitor test processes for predictive metrics and assist in fault isolation. This onsite role is at the Raytheon Diné Facility, complying with the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, product and/or test environments.
• Experience with data analysis or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).

Responsibilities

• Validating new or modified test equipment for production use, ensuring accuracy of work instructions and that test equipment and software meet product-specific test requirements.
• Monitoring and improving test processes through analysis of predictive metrics, failure mode and test yields.
• Performing preliminary investigations for problem resolution.
• Participating in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment.
• Providing technical training to production test specialists and metrology personnel.
• Availability to cover additional shifts including some weekend work.
