Job summary

RTX in Farmington, NM is seeking a Production Test Engineer I onsite to support the manufacturing test process, validate hardware and test equipment against requirements, and troubleshoot failures.

You will improve test processes for efficiency and yield, maintain documentation, and lead root-cause investigations with cross-functional teams. U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with Test Equipment.
• Experience in a Defense Manufacturing environment.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access program information.

Responsibilities

• Support the validation of new or modified test equipment for production use.
• Ensure the operation of test equipment and instructions are accurate.
• Ensure test equipment and software meet product test requirements.
• Monitor and improve test processes through analysis of predictive metrics and test yields.
• Perform preliminary investigation of problem resolution.
• Maintain changes to test equipment documentation (data packages, drawings, manuals, software).
• Lead root cause investigations and present findings.
