Netflix’s Vine Studios in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Production Technology Engineer to provide hands‑on technical support for on‑set and post‑production environments, keeping editorial rooms and screening spaces operational while translating complex issues into clear guidance for producers and creatives.

You will partner with Media Systems and Production Engineering to evolve tools, workflows, and color pipelines for animated series, and support premieres, review sessions, and shows across

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in production or post engineering at a post‑production facility or studio.
• Experience with production and post‑production workflows including non‑linear editing, color science, VFX, and audio mastering.
• Knowledge of animation and VFX pipelines (2D and CG).
• Strong relationships with industry tools and hardware and ability to translate complex tech to non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provides day‑to‑day technical support across specialty rooms and edit bays for Netflix Series Animation at Vine Studios.
• Troubleshoots real‑time issues and escalates when necessary based on production context.
• Contributes to root cause analysis to reduce repeat incidents and improve support efficiency.
• Works with production executives, editors, and creatives to maintain proactive communication and smooth operations.
• Supports facility projects including room refreshes and edit bay upgrades, coordinating with engineering teams.
