Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Production Technician II to support the operations team. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and reduce downtime with limited supervision.

The role involves 5S/Lean activities, line configuration, and safety procedures within a food processing environment. You will learn and apply industry best maintenance practices while collaborating with OEMs during rebuilds and installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing maintenance role with preventive maintenance duties.
• Familiar with safety policies (OSHA, NFPA, USDA, FDA).
• Ability to read manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on production equipment to improve reliability.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Log work orders in CMMS and track metrics such as MTTR/MTBF.
