Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Production Maintenance Supervisor for its East Coast operation in Bowie, MD to lead a team of technicians responsible for equipment safety, uptime and performance.

You will develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules, oversee 5S and Lean practices, and ensure GMP/SQF compliance to protect employees and products. This role requires strong leadership and PM development in a food processing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in maintenance leadership in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiar with SQF, GMP, USDA and FDA policies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, USDA, FDA etc.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules.
• Supervise maintenance staff to achieve uptime and repair goals.
• Identify training needs and develop hands-on programs (RCA, FMA).
• Plan line moves, installs, and calibrations with OEMs as needed.
• Maintain shift communications and report equipment status and KPIs.
• Maintain records and spare parts inventory for uptime.
