Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking an experienced supervisor for a cement plant/industrial setting in Maryland. You will manage start-up, operation, and shutdown of grinding and drying systems, perform inspections, and ensure quality compliance while coordinating maintenance and housekeeping.

The role requires at least five years in heavy industry with supervisory responsibilities and strong communication skills; Associates degree; proficiency with Excel, SAP, Maximo, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related experience with progression, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a cement plant or other heavy industry is highly preferred.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Associates/College Degree

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up, normal operation, and shutdown of the referenced systems.
• Perform equipment inspection, preventative and minor maintenance as well as general housekeeping.
• Execute quality checks to ensure the mill is operating within quality specifications.
• Operate mobile equipment to ensure piles are maintained and the dryer and mills are fed.
• Initiate the daily activities of the Granulation, dryer, and finish mills to meet plant demands.
