Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Cary, NC seeks a Senior Production Support Engineer to ensure stability and reliability of the trading platform, applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to proactively manage health and automation across complex systems.

You will collaborate with senior traders, developers and cross‑functional teams to optimize front‑to‑back workflows, handle incidents, and champion observability.

Qualifications

• Extensive Production Support, SRE, or DevOps experience in financial services or trading environments.
• Strong Linux/Unix, SQL, scripting and programming in Python or Java.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, incident management, and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, availability, and resilience of the trading platform through proactive monitoring and operational oversight.
• Lead and contribute hands-on to production support, driving SRE best practices and TOIL reduction.
• Act as SME for users and stakeholders, providing timely support and incident management.
• Investigate, resolve, and prevent issues through root cause analysis and postmortems.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement, including self-healing capabilities.
• Partner with developers and project teams to support deployments, DR and business continuity.
