ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Enchante Accessories is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Production & Sourcing, to lead our global production and sourcing function for imported hard goods. This role will have direct ownership of our overseas factory base and international production team, with responsibility for factory selection, cost negotiation, production performance, risk management, and the processes and reporting that support on‑time delivery. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working directly with factories in China and/or India and has managed an overseas team responsible for production and sourcing. This person will play a key role in strengthening and rebuilding the structure of the department, establishing clear processes, reporting, and accountability across our global production network.

• Lead and manage the overseas production and sourcing team, establishing priorities, responsibilities, performance expectations, and accountability.
• Own and manage direct relationships with overseas factories and manufacturing partners across China, India, and other sourcing regions.
• Evaluate, select, onboard, and manage factories based on capabilities, pricing, capacity, quality, compliance, delivery performance, and business needs.
• Lead cost negotiations directly with factories, including product costing, margins, production terms, and ongoing cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Partner with factory owners and senior factory leadership to resolve production, costing, quality, capacity, and delivery challenges.
• Oversee the production lifecycle from sourcing and costing through manufacturing, shipment, and delivery.
• Establish production timelines, milestones, and escalation procedures to identify potential delays and production risks before they impact customer delivery dates.
• Develop and maintain reporting that provides visibility into production status, factory performance, delivery risk, costing, and outstanding issues.
• Build, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scalable processes across the production and sourcing function.
• Establish measurable factory and team performance standards and ensure appropriate follow‑up when expectations are not met.
• Analyze factory performance and sourcing opportunities to determine when production should be expanded, shifted, renegotiated, or transitioned to alternate suppliers.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Design, Product Development, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure product requirements, costs, timelines, and customer commitments are aligned.
• Identify and troubleshoot production challenges with practical solutions while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Maintain visibility into capacity, production schedules, shipment timing, and other factors that may create supply or delivery risk.
• Travel internationally to China, India, and other sourcing regions several times per year to meet with factories, evaluate capabilities, negotiate costs, and support the overseas team.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

• 8+ years of production and sourcing experience within imported hard goods, including ceramics, glassware, housewares, tabletop, or related consumer‑product categories.
• Experience directly managing an overseas production and/or sourcing team.
• Established direct relationships with overseas factories and senior factory leadership in China, India, or both.
• Hands‑on experience negotiating product costs and commercial terms directly with factories.
• Knowledge of global sourcing, manufacturing, production planning, costing, quality, and international supply‑chain processes.
• Experience developing production reporting, tracking systems, SOPs, and departmental processes.
• Ability to assess factory capabilities, performance, cost competitiveness, capacity, and production risk.
• Ability to lead teams across different countries, cultures, and time zones while maintaining clear expectations and accountability.
• Organizational and project‑management skills with the ability to oversee multiple factories, product categories, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
• Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with factory leadership, overseas teams, and internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally several times per year.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Production, Business, International Business, or a related field with 8+ years of progressive production and sourcing experience within imported hard goods; or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
