Qualifications

• 5+ years of production scheduling or planning experience in manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP PP and MES platforms.
• Strong understanding of material flow, shop-floor processes, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize detailed production schedules using SAP PP and MES to meet demand.
• Evaluate forecasts, material availability, labor needs, and capacity to create executable plans.
• Lead daily scheduling meetings with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics).
• Monitor shop-floor performance via MES and adjust schedules for downtime, shortages, or priority changes.
• Release and manage production orders in SAP, ensuring data accuracy and BOM integrity.
• Identify bottlenecks and risks; propose mitigation and corrective actions.
• Provide regular schedule updates and KPIs to leadership; support recovery plans for at-risk orders.
• Support S&OP with capacity analysis and long-range planning insights.
• Mentor junior schedulers on planning best practices and system use.
