Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. in Colorado seeks a Production Manager / Processing Manager to lead branch production and processing operations, ensuring safety, quality, scheduling and cost targets are met.

You will supervise supervisors and staff, optimize capacity, coordinate with the Operations Manager, and maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT and company policies; weekly pay and benefits after 60 days are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• 5+ years in production/processing/manufacturing or steel service environment.
• 3+ years supervisory/management experience in production/processing.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, workforce management, and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide direction for all production and processing activities within the branch.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production based on customer requirements, capacity, staffing, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and to spec, meeting quality standards.
• Establish and monitor production goals, KPIs and performance targets.
• Monitor productivity, labor utilization, downtime, scrap, and costs; drive improvements.
• Ensure staffing levels and workforce allocation meet production needs.
• Develop production schedules and adjust priorities as needed.
• Supervise and develop Production Supervisors, Leads, and staff.
• Provide coaching, training and performance management; participate in recruitment and onboarding.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on employee relations and attendance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies; OSHA/DOT regulations; maintain safe equipment and work areas.
