Qualifications

• 5+ years operations experience in a metals/related industry.
• 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
• 1+ years related management experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards and DOL/OSHA requirements.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Operations Manager with plant management responsibilities.
• Scheduling and supervising activities of warehouse supervisory and hourly staff.
• Monitors and ensures processing and quality control standards.
• Assigning daily tasks and evaluating subordinates.
• Ensuring timely completion of warehouse activities.
• Interviewing and recruiting employees and organizing on-the-job training.
• Ensuring safety of all workers in the warehouse per OSHA and EHS programs.
• Inspecting inventory records and tracking inbound/outbound materials.
• Other related duties as assigned.
