Job summary

Harting Technology Group in Germany is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production plans and schedules ensuring on-time delivery. You will monitor performance, capacity utilization and inventory levels, and coordinate material availability with Procurement and Supply Chain teams.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field.
• Several years of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing Operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor production performances, capacity utilization and inventory levels.
• Coordinate material availability with Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
• Analyze production data, KPIs and bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, machines and production resources.
• Support cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, Quality, Engineering and Sales.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Monitor adherence to production targets, quality standards and delivery commitments.
• Support S&OP and capacity planning processes.
• Identify risks impacting production schedules and develop mitigation plans.
