Your tasks
Project steering, monitoring, and reporting of timeline adherence
Able to offer planning guidance and project reporting focusing on in-plant logistics processes
Design transport flows between Tier1 part suppliers, logistics providers, and the OEM
Leads or participates in all relevant workshops, realization team meetings, and packaging reviews
Reviews and updates project timelines for implementation and migration activities
Presents to internal and external customers in weekly meetings the status of projects
Ensures that IT system interfaces are considered in all phases of implementation
Participates in logistics process planning, investment planning, and analysis of space requirements
Ensures in-plant logistics processes and layouts support lean manufacturing processes and are optimized
Provides to the customer layout planning for logistics spaces, warehouses and connected logistics elements and future plant expansion areas
Provides to the customer feasibility studies for structures, fixtures, new process, and evaluations based on cost, quality, and reliability
Provides to the customer analysis to evaluate new process integration into current series processes
Provides to the customer financial analysis of contracts with logistics services vendor and interacts with them on structure and layout topics
Ability to escalate issues that do not support plant requirements
Your profile
Successfully completed bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or similar field
Project management experience
Experience (3 years min.) in material flow planning, warehouse planning or supermarket planning in the automotive industry
Knowledge of Lean Methodologies is beneficial
Technical knowledge about different potential line supply methods and technologies
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Visio
Sound knowledge of AutoCAD
Knowledge of Microstation is beneficial
Experience in time studies and MTM is beneficial
Business fluent in English
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in an international environment across multiple time zones
