Harting Americas, a subsidiary of Harting Technology Group, seeks a detail-oriented Injection Molding Production Supervisor (2nd or 3rd Shift) to support the operation and be responsible for the execution of daily production schedules by balancing the key elements of manufacturing: safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will supervise staff, develop a cross-functional team, drive 5S, lean principles, and KPI tracking while coordinating with planning to meet customer requirements and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma; business/engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing leadership.
• Knowledge of Injection Molding processes.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Develop staffing plans, recruit, orient, train and discipline staff.
• Lead 5S, lean, quality and efficiency standards.

We are seeking a detail -oriented Injection Molding Production Supervisor (2nd or 3rd Shift) to support the operation and be responsible for the execution of daily production schedules by balancing the key elements of manufacturing: safety, quality, delivery and cost.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:

• Directly supervises and directs daily activities for assigned employees
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and disciplining employees; developing personal growth opportunities
• Provides leadership and sets standards such as 5S, lean principles, quality and efficiency
• Responsible for developing a cross-functional workforce that can be best utilized to effectively and efficiently meet customer requirements
• Works with planning team daily to ensure schedules are met
• Coordinates with planning required capacity planning, recommends appropriate staffing requirements, required overtime or surplus of resources
• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Monitors and acts established KPIs to ensure company objectives are met
• Maintains quality product by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices;

Skills And Experience To Thrive In This Role

• High school diploma required with preference for degree in business administration or engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing leadership environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes involving Injection Molding
• Lean manufacturing experience, preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical ability
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated

Compensation

• HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
• Competitive base salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location).
