HARTING Technology Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the Operations department. You will lead preventive, proactive, and predictive maintenance to optimize equipment reliability and reduce costs.

You will maintain CMMS records, manage spare parts, and support MRO inventory. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with injection molding or automated assemblies is a plus.
• Cross-functional collaboration across teams is expected.
• Database reporting and management knowledge is preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products.

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our growing Operations department. This person will be responsible for Preventative, Proactive and Predictive Maintenance to Optimize performance, minimize costs and prevent future maintenance issues.

HARTING aims to be a trusted advisor to HARTING customers and positions itself as the go-to source expert for industrial connectivity solutions. We partner directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Distribution partners for standard product, designed-in value-added products, and Product Development initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:

• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and longevity of manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct regular review and inspection of manufacturer guidelines to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance
• Proactive Maintenance: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance. Implement proactive maintenance initiatives, such as equipment modifications, upgrades, and process optimizations, to enhance productivity and minimize maintenance costs.
• Predictive Maintenance: Utilize predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis, to identify potential equipment failures before they occur. Implement predictive maintenance programs to schedule maintenance activities based on equipment condition monitoring data
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and service history. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for efficient documentation and tracking.
• Support on purchasing costs and MRO inventory level to ensure equipment availability while holding down costs.
• Spare Parts Management: Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies required for maintenance activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement in equipment operation and maintenance practices. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance productivity.
  
  

Skills And Experience To Thrive In This Role

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exposure to injection molding or automated assemblies are a plus
• Experience of cross functional collaboration with teams and departments across the organization
• Database reporting and management.
• Working knowledge of MS office products.

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:

Compensation

• HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
• Competitive salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience)
• This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
