Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the production planning process for our Anderson, SC facility. You will align demand, capacity, materials, and inventory with business priorities while maintaining the master production plan and driving improvements in planning accuracy and flow.

The role interfaces across Production, Purchasing, Project Management, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery and optimal material use.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or related operations.
• Strong scheduling, capacity planning and inventory control in manufacturing.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain production schedules to align with forecasts and priorities.
• Own work order control and coordinate with production, purchasing, PM and teams.
• Identify delays and expedite materials to meet promise dates.
• Analyze demand, capacity, inventory, and performance data for improvements.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly planning reports with KPIs.
• Drive schedule adherence and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support annual inventory and cycle counts.
• Lead or facilitate cross-functional planning meetings.
