Job summary

Rubbercraft is seeking a Senior Production Planner IV in Long Beach, CA, to lead master scheduling, capacity planning, and MRP optimization across multiple manufacturing value streams. The role focuses on aligning production with demand, material availability, and capacity to ensure on-time delivery, while driving improvements in planning accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has extensive high-mix manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills, and can manage competing priorities

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive production planning, master scheduling, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP and ERP systems, including planning parameters, BOMs, and routings.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and execution of master production schedules across multiple value streams.
• Perform advanced capacity planning, what-if analyses, and respond to forecast changes.
• Independently manage complex scheduling priorities and resolve bottlenecks to improve schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality to support changes and recovery plans.
• Monitor demand, inventory, lead times, and resource availability to optimize scheduling and on-time delivery.
