Rubbercraft in Long Beach, CA seeks a Production Expeditor III to manage a high-mix production queue from release to shipment. You will identify risks, coordinate recovery actions, and provide timely updates to cross-functional teams.

This senior role supports expeditor I/II and strengthens standard work and data accuracy. The company emphasizes craftsmanship and reliability in elastomer solutions, with a focus on aerospace/defense markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related business/supply chain education preferred.
• 4–6 years in production expediting, scheduling, planning, materials, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-mix, low-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and extensive Excel proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage and maintain visibility of a large portfolio of active manufacturing orders, including due dates, quantities, routing status, blockers, and recovery actions.
• Establish daily priorities using commitments, past-due status, shortage risk, quality holds, tooling availability, capacity, and production readiness.
• Monitor orders through the production floor and verify system status, planner boards, trackers, and shop-floor conditions.
• Identify late or at-risk orders early; clearly communicate issue, impact, owner, required action, and recovery date.
• Coordinate with department leads to remove blockers and recover schedule performance.
• Prepare accurate daily and periodic order-status updates, including past dues, recovery plans, and changes to projected completion dates.
• Use Great Plains/ERP, SSRS, MS Planner, CPT, Excel to research orders and maintain accurate data.
