Job summary

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules, ensuring optimal use of materials, labor and equipment while meeting demand and inventory requirements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous process improvements to support on-time delivery, reporting to the planning manager in Waltham, MA. This on-site role offers growth within a major life sciences organization.

Qualifications

Degree or masters in related discipline.
5 years’ experience in production and material planning.
Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and optimizing planning attributes.
Excellent data analytical and presentation skills.
Experience meeting tight deadlines and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet demand and inventory needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize orders and resolve constraints.
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvements for on-time delivery and efficiency.
Report to the production and material planning manager; part of Inventory and Production Planning in Waltham, MA on-site.
