Job summary

Abcam is seeking a Site Logistics Manager in Waltham, MA to lead receiving, inventory control, shipping, and material handling in a regulated life sciences environment. This on-site role reports to the Site Operations Director and supports manufacturing continuity and customer commitments.

You will build and coach the logistics team, drive continuous improvement using DBS and Lean methods, optimize warehouse operations, and ensure audit readiness and inventory accuracy while delivering reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
8+ years in logistics/warehousing/ops leadership.
5+ years leading managers and frontline teams.
Experience in regulated life sciences or manufacturing.
Proven inventory control, shipping, and ERP/WMS skills.
Experience applying Lean/ DBS/ Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

Lead safe, compliant logistics operations across receiving, inventory, shipping, and material handling.
Deliver reliable fulfillment and improve on-time shipment and service levels.
Develop inventory control and flow processes with cycle counting and root-cause analysis.
Develop and build capability within Waltham Logistics through staffing and management.
Drive DBS initiatives, capacity planning, and warehouse optimization.
