Job summary

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage all raw materials and consumables on site in Waltham, MA. Responsibilities include cycle counting, receiving, staging, and stock adjustments within our inventory system.

You will report to the Production and Material Planning Manager as part of Inventory and Production Planning. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in inventory control or related fields, plus strong Excel, data analysis, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, supply chain, or related operations.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Inventory management expertise with cycle counting, stock accuracy, and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with focus on root causes and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counting on raw materials, consumables, and bulk product in a lab setting, including cold storage.
• Receive and put away materials in the assigned locations.
• Follow up on items requiring stock adjustment and ensure actions are recorded in the inventory system.
• Collect and analyze data to drive process improvement.
• Collect and stage material as well as capping.
