Job summary

Fillauer is seeking a Senior Production Planner to lead scheduling, forecasting, and constraint management across multiple work centers. You will drive planning improvements, partner with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance, and mentor junior planners to optimize supply readiness.

The role requires strong analytical skills, 5+ years in production planning, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems. Expect collaborative cross-functional work with manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in production planning or supply chain.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems for data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing production schedules across multiple work centers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify root causes.
• Experience with forecast review, inventory analysis, and demand/supply balancing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead cross-functional discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily planning and scheduling discussions across work centers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage production schedules across multiple horizons to align with demand and capacity.
• Build and assess planning scenarios in response to changes in demand or constraints.
• Resolve complex scheduling, WIP, and delivery issues beyond day-to-day planning scope.
• Review forecasts and recommend production plans for leadership approval.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
• Coordinate new product release planning to ensure supply readiness and inputs for long-range planning.
• Mentor and support junior planners; provide guidance to planning coordinators.
