Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Senior Production Planner for Development Programs to drive production planning for prototype aircraft builds. You will coordinate across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program Management to translate evolving requirements into actionable schedules.

You will manage work orders, track milestones, and partner with Supply Chain to ensure material availability. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years in production planning or related fields are required, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in production planning or supply chain.
Experience supporting complex hardware or defense programs is preferred.
Experience in ERP/MRP environments and schedules with evolving designs.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for prototype aircraft builds and major assemblies.
Translate release plans and milestones into executable manufacturing schedules.
Release and manage work orders, including those with incomplete engineering definitions.
Coordinate schedule adjustments due to design changes and shifting priorities.
Monitor progress and identify risks to build, integration, and flight-test milestones.
Collaborate with Supply Chain for material availability and scheduling.
Support ERP/MRP accuracy through planning and work order management.
