Shield AI is seeking a Sr. Manager of Materials Planning & Logistics to lead supply planning, material readiness, production planning, and logistics for next-generation autonomous aircraft and a new greenfield manufacturing facility.

The role requires strong operational leadership, hands-on execution, and experience building manufacturing and supply chain capabilities from the ground up, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Procurement, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 7+ years in materials planning or supply chain operations.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or advanced manufacturing programs.

Responsibilities

• Own materials planning, production control, inventory, warehousing, and logistics strategy.
• Define and monitor KPIs for schedule attainment and material availability.
• Identify long-lead material risks and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead planning for a new manufacturing facility and optimize material flow.
• Create a culture of accountability and cross-functional collaboration.
