Job summary

Fillauer is seeking a Senior Production Planner to optimize scheduling, capacity, and material availability across multiple work centers. The role partners with Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance to ensure on-time delivery and efficient planning processes.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in production planning within manufacturing, strong ERP/MRP skills, and a proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate's degree in management or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; ability to analyze and interpret system data to drive planning decisions.
• Demonstrated experience managing production schedules across multiple work centers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause and recommend solutions.
• Experience with forecast review, inventory analysis, and demand/supply balancing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable leading cross-functional discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production planning and scheduling discussions, setting priorities across work centers.
• Manage the production schedule across multiple work centers to support on-time delivery.
• Build and assess planning scenarios in response to demand changes or disruptions.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, WIP, and delivery issues beyond routine planning.
• Review forecasts and recommend production plans for leadership approval.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Engineering on material risks and supplier constraints.
