Job summary

3A Composites USA in Benton, KY seeks a Senior Production Planner/Scheduler to develop and manage production schedules that align customer demand with capacity, material availability, and inventory objectives. You will coordinate across multiple functions to support efficient operations and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong attention to detail, SAP experience, and the ability to adjust plans in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accurate planning data.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent production planning or scheduling experience considered.
• Minimum of five years in production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or related manufacturing function.
• Experience planning and scheduling across multiple production lines is advantageous.
• Preferred SAP experience covering production planning, inventory control, and material setup.
• Power BI experience to review dashboards and support planning decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed production schedules based on orders, inventory, and capacity.
• Review sales orders, confirm material requirements, and create purchase requisitions for raw materials.
• Convert planned orders into production orders and set realistic lead times with production and CS
• Monitor schedule progress daily and adjust plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to expedite materials and color matches as needed.
• Maintain SAP transactions for production orders, inventory movements, and related planning activities.
• Support inventory accuracy with counts, reconciliations, and material availability reviews.
