Job summary

Georg Fischer seeks a Production Planner to manage all aspects of production planning in a custom manufacturing environment. You will release, monitor, and manage work orders to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient production.

The ideal candidate has ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred), strong analytical skills, and familiarity with lean manufacturing, inventory control, and BOMs. Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in planning are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in SCM, Business Admin, or related field.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of production planning or scheduling experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Release and manage production work orders to meet goals.
• Maintain the production schedule based on demand and capacity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling issues.
• Track progress in SAP and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Analyze demand and inventory data to optimize schedules.
