Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Production Engineer to maximize production, improve reliability, and reduce downtime across a portfolio of wells. You will apply engineering fundamentals, data-driven analysis, and economic judgment to identify opportunities and drive value.

This role involves collaborating with field operations, reservoir and facilities teams, planning interventions, optimizing artificial lift, and communicating recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of upstream oil and gas engineering experience.
• Experience in production optimization and artificial lift.
• Ability to analyze operational data and translate findings into actions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own production performance and surveillance for a portfolio of wells.
• Develop dashboards to monitor performance and alert on opportunities.
• Plan and execute well interventions, including AFEs and cost estimates.
• Design and optimize artificial lift systems.
• Track LOE and capital expenditures to identify variances and improvements.
• Collaborate with reservoir, geology, completions, and operations teams.
