Job summary

Permian Resources Corporation in Midland, TX seeks a Production Engineer to join the Production Operations team and report to the Lead Production Engineer. You will manage producing assets cradle to grave, perform flowback management, artificial lift design, surveillance, and LOE stewardship, while collaborating with field personnel and multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 5+ years in production engineering, experience with horizontal wells, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Production Engineering.
• Experience with horizontal wells in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with PC-based programs; Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Spotfire.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned production area within the Delaware Basin, focusing on horizontal wells producing on gas lift, ESP, and rod pump.
• Collaborate with field ops, reservoir, drilling, completions, facilities, geology, land, and regulatory teams.
• Coordinate field ops to optimize base production and reduce downtime; spend weekly in the field.
