Job summary

Diversified Energy Company is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to plan and coordinate production operations across multiple assets. The role requires handling field and office work, mentoring junior staff, and delivering safe, cost-effective interventions.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in oil and gas production, experience with artificial lift and well work, and strong communication skills. Occasional travel to field locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical, Petroleum, Civil or Mechanical Eng.
• 5+ years in oil and gas production operations or equivalent.
• Experience in artificial lift design and well work.
• Knowledge of at least one technical discipline with facilities knowledge.
• Experience with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Gas-well experience incl. plunger lift and gas lift is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and coordination of production operations across assets.
• Mentor junior staff and handle multiple projects independently.
• Develop well intervention procedures and manage with site managers.
• Identify capital/expense opportunities, prepare AFEs and economics.
• Run well/pattern review with field staff and asset teams.
• Provide daily surveillance and evaluate producing/injecting wells.
• Track expenditures, perform trend analyses and forecasts
