Job summary

American Regent, Inc. is seeking a senior production leader to join our Manufacturing Team in Ohio. The Associate Manager, Production will oversee aseptic operations, ensure cGMP adherence, and drive on-time production schedules.

You will mentor junior supervisors, review batch records, and ensure proper documentation. This role requires leadership, strong GMP knowledge, and practical problem-solving in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum 1-year leadership experience in manufacturing with GMP/FDA regulations.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sterile Pharmaceutical Manufacturing industry preferred.
Excellent chemical handling and mathematical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
Experience writing, reviewing, and executing standard operating procedures.
Knowledge of Six Sigma or CI projects preferred.
Must be able to read documents in Standard English (SOPs, maintenance schedules, manuals).

Responsibilities

Supervises manufacturing activities per SOPs for multiple products, delegating resources and participating daily/weekly.
Trains and mentors staff in all facets of the manufacturing process.
Reviews batch records and logbooks before final production review.
Reallocates personnel based on production needs.
Creates weekly activity schedules to meet production targets.
Maintains equipment and supply inventories per production schedules.
Ensures only approved materials and equipment are used.
Ensures staff have approved training records for tasks.
Attends training programs as required by SOPs.
Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
