Job summary

Novolex in Carmel, IN is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team and meet production goals while ensuring safety and quality. You will oversee 125+ employees across shifts, drive cost control, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a BS/BA in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business with 8 years of manufacturing experience including 4 years of supervision; LEAN experience and strong MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business, plus 8 years of manufacturing experience including 4 years supervision.
• Prior Injection Molding and LEAN experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and process improvement techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to assigned department and teams to meet production goals and safety.
• Schedule, track, and monitor production and costs to meet goals while maintaining safety and quality.
• Hire, train, coach and take disciplinary actions to maintain workforce.
• Develop, implement and demonstrate best practices and consistent policies.
• Complete timely reports on production outcomes like efficiency and downtime.
• Provide feedback up and down the organization.
• Lead safety programs and investigations into safety issues.
• Lead, design and implement continuous improvement processes.
