Job summary

Morrison Living, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Production Manager to lead production staff and oversee daily operations for timely service. You will plan, direct, and coordinate production activities to ensure quality meals for serving areas, while maintaining schedules and standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in foodservice management, strong inventory/purchasing skills, and a solid grasp of cost controls and labor management.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Food Services Technology/Management or A.A. with four years related experience.
• Two to four years retirement or adult home/care experience preferred.
• Four plus years of direct foodservice operational management experience in various settings.
• Inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, sanitation, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and coordinates activities of production employees to prepare and deliver finished food products.
• Maintains daily/weekly production schedules using master cycle menu.
• Ensures proper portioning of foods and adherence to standardized recipes.
• Manages payroll processes and staff development.
• Oversees inventory, orders, and budget processes with FSD involvement.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and quality standards.
