Qualifications

• Lead or supervise experience in manufacturing setting.
• Willing to work any shift including some weekends.
• Ability to provide sound judgment to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite
• Flexible with work assignments.
• Proactive safety attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
• Provide direction and motivate employees guided by established practices and precedents.
• Interpret, execute, and modify practices affecting direct reports.
• Perform ongoing tasks of the department.
• Support engineering staff in operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Work with maintenance and engineering on running, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Review results for timeliness, quality, and cost effectiveness to meet goals.
• Schedule work, lead and train direct reports, and control processes within cost parameters.
