Job summary

The Kasper Group, part of Premier Brands Group Holdings, seeks an experienced production leader in New York to drive manufacturing excellence across denim, womenswear, and accessories. You will oversee production teams, schedule critical dates, and coordinate with design, sales, and factories to ensure on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Time and Action calendar, negotiating supplier dates, and mentoring associates while optimizing efficiency within a global supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5+ years in a related management role.
• 10+ years in related roles at director level.
• Experience in retail/manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of ladies apparel product.
• Knowledge of ERP systems SAP/RLM and PLM knowledge.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, analytical and organizational skills.
• MS Excel and Outlook proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activities and manage the production team.
• Negotiate critical dates for Time and Action and approve style plans.
• Monitor and adhere to the Time and Action calendar.
• Communicate weekly with overseas and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.
• Coordinate logistics with internal teams, vendors and overseas offices.
• Guide and mentor production associates and junior managers.
• Review and approve shipment extensions and vessel bookings with Import.
